Is your child struggling to spell or listen to sounds in words?
Practice filling in missing sounds! It is a powerful and fun way to strengthen phoneme-grapheme association (the brain’s ability to link sounds to letters).

We’ve designed two sets of free printable worksheets that support young learners (ages 4–6) in identifying beginning, middle, and ending sounds, a critical skill for reading and spelling.
One version includes letter hints for added support.
The other encourages independent thinking by removing them.
Each activity is research-backed, dyslexia-friendly, and parent and teacher approved
Use them in just 5 minutes a day to boost your child’s phonemic awareness, an essential pre-reading skill!
HOW TO USE:
Say the word slowly together
Ask: “What sound is missing?”
Point to the blank and let your child write the sound
